Anxiety Disorders

Anxiety disorders is a psychological and physical condition characterised by persistent and excessive worry. There are many different forms of anxiety. However, in general all anxiety types can become so distressing that they begin to negatively impact an individual’s daily life or achievement of routine tasks. This may take a lot of pleasure out of an individual’s experience of daily life. Additionally, anxiety can often co-occur with other disorders such as depression. This can add to the complexity of treatment and to the confusion of the client. Anxiety can also result in the development of secondary psychological concerns such as alcohol or drug dependence. Similar to depression, anxiety is believed to be caused by a combination of environmental, psychological and biological factors. Dino has had extensive experience in working with such disorders.
