At Urzi Psychology the investment you make in yourself will cost $200 per 50 minute session. This fee is set well below those recommended by Government, Medicare, and the Australian Psychological Society.
At Urzi Psychology, we welcome referrals from GP’s, Paediatricians, Psychiatrists or even Self-Referrals.
Individuals with a mental health care plan will be eligible for rebates from Medicare.
- Professional Consultation (50 minutes): $200 (Medicare rebate $129.95)
- Telephone Consultation (50 minutes): $200
- Offsite consultation (50 minutes): $200 + travel time (Medicare Rebate $129.95)
- Letter: $200 per hour + GST
- Report: $200 per hour + GST
As your psychologist, I understand that this process can be overwhelming for some. Therefore, if you require further assistance with this process please contact me and I can help you with any questions you may have.
Health Fund Rebates
As each health fund differs, you will need to check with your private health insurer as to your exact cover. Please note, you are unable to claim from Medicare and your private health fund for the same consultation.
Clients accessing rebates through Medicare will have their rebate processed in the office to avoid any possible delays in obtaining the rebate.
If you are willing to pay the full fee ($200) with no rebate, you do not need a referral to see a psychologist at Urzi Psychology.
Urzi Psychology accepts all major credit cards, including Diners and American Express. Payments are made at the end of each session.
It is understandable that at times clients may miss appointments due to other commitments and emergencies. Despite this, I have set aside an hour of my time to support you and therefore are unable to provide another client with much needed help. Therefore, the following fees and notice applies to cancelled or missed sessions.
- 0 – 24 hours notice: Full Fee ($200)
- 24 – 48 hours notice: 50% of Fee ($100)
- 48 hours to 7 days notice: No Fee
